Single anterior tooth replacements treated with resin-bonded bridges

A resin-bonded bridge in the anterior zone is a well-established, minimally invasive treatment that can provide both good esthetics and good function. It can be used as an intermediate or a more definitive solution. Patient selection, choice of materials and design of the bridges is of outmost importance to obtain high long-term survival. With experience from the Eastman Dental Institute in Stockholm, this lecture will discuss when a resin-bonded bridge can be a good option instead of a single implant and how to plan and perform the treatment to optimize the prognosis.

After the lecture you will be able to:

  • identify the right patients for resin-bonded bridges based on systematic pre-procedural data collection.
  • choose materials and design to achieve predictable treatment results with good esthetics, function and long-term survival
