Oral plastic surgery rescue procedures for implant complications in the esthetic zone

Any dental implant complication creates multiple issues for both practitioners and especially patients. The complexity and consequence of said issues increases exponentially if they occur within the esthetic zone. Oral plastic surgery techniques frequently applied to addressing issues of the periodontium around teeth can also aid in rescuing delicate situations around implants in the esthetic zone. This presentation aims to review the state of the science and clinical application of oral plastic surgical procedures for the correction of soft and hard tissue deficiencies around implants in the esthetic zone, presented through cases managed in a private practice setting.
