Digital technology related complications and preventions in static computer-assisted implant surgery

Implant dentistry is constantly evolving and changing what is possible in restoring patient’s oral health. Although it is easy to assume that evolving technology brings positive impacts on clinical treatment outcomes, it is not always without trial and error. This presentation will focus on sharing with the audiences about learned experiences in identifying and preventing digital technology-related complications when planning and executing static computer-assisted implant surgery. Common issues during digital data acquisition, treatment planning, and clinical procedures will be reviewed. Quality assurance strategies will be discussed on how to prevent, recognize and resolve the digital technology-related complications in using static computer-assisted implant surgery.
