Digital Dental Photography

Contemporary digital workflows in dentistry inevitably require data acquisition with digital pictures. The clinician is challenged to incorporate taking pictures in their routine daily practice. This workshop will provide an overview on how to become more proficient in acquiring a complete clinical picture dataset.

The workshop will consist of a 30min lecture and a demo/hands-on part.

Learning objectives:

• Give an overview about current equipment and accessories necessary to obtain digital dental pictures
• Train the attendee in intraoral, extraoral and portrait photography
• Inspire and motivate the clinicians to get high quality pictures to enhance their digital workflows and communication with patients, lab and interdisciplinary team
