Current treatment planning trends in oral implantology

Oral Implantology is one of the many areas that is seeing rapid, ongoing evolution. Contemporary trends in oral implantology therefore include constant clinical developments and innovative treatments that prescribing clinicians must navigate and apply. The expansion of digitalization in dentistry together with a growing consumerism in healthcare are but two of the current trends that impact on implant treatment planning. From the perspective of patient centered, prosthodontically determined and evidence-based practice, this presentation will explore and evaluate the current trends and their place in oral rehabilitation of missing teeth.
