Straumann Scientific Symposium “New frontiers in modern dentistry”

Dental implants have become a very popular treatment option for patients with missing teeth and are validated as safe and efficient treatment modalities. Moreover, digitalization is impacting the world of dentistry immensely and nearly all steps of the dental implant therapy are affected by this technology. Nowadays, patients expect not only reliable and predictable treatment, but they also demand solutions to shorten the overall treatment time. Therefore, it is of great interest to be able to offer them a personalized treatment option, tailored to their needs and actual health condition.

During the Straumann Scientific Symposium held under the umbrella topic “New frontiers in modern dentistry”, world-renowned speakers will discuss variety of topics that remain crucial while considering safe and predictable implant treatment concepts. These include, but are not restricted to: immediate implant treatment concepts, digital workflow, long-term implant performance, application of biomaterials and implant treatment in compromised conditions. A wide spectrum of clinical applications will be addressed. Particular attention will be paid to appropriate treatment planning, patient-reported outcome measures, recent scientific literature, treatment recommendations and case reviews.
