Tissue preservation and reconstruction are mandatory in contemporary Implant Dentistry and, thus, present major challenges in case selection, planning and execution. Significant advances in biomaterials and surgical approaches were brought to important application in clinical practice. In this theoretical workshop, recent developments in regenerative biomaterials will be discussed with particular emphasis to esthetic management of advanced cases.

 

Aims & Learning Outcomes:

The theoretical workshop will enable participants to:

  • Grasp the rationale behind different types of biomaterials
  • Understand and deepen the principle of bone regeneration
  • Learn how to choose the ideal combination of biomaterials for a specific clinical situation
