Raj qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2002. He has since held a strong interest in surgical dentistry and oral implantology and has 10 years of hospital experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the world-renowned University Hospital Aintree.
His practice is limited to oral surgery and implantology and he works as a peripatetic surgeon between dental surgeries in London and the South East.
He has completed post graduate education in multiple countries and is also involved in mentoring new dentists in placing dental implants and teaching dentists about implant and surgical based dentistry.
He is an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Bristol and is an ITI Fellow, Communications Officer for the ITI UK and Ireland section. He also runs the ITI study club in Croydon which helps promote post graduate education for local and national dentists.
He has also completed a Masters in Medical Law and Ethics which has enabled him to have a great incite about the role of consent in surgical procedures.
