Dr. André Barbisan De Souza obtained his DDS at the State University of Maringá, Brazil. He also obtained his training in Periodontology and the Master’s Degree, both at the same university, where he worked for many years with Dr. Mauricio Araujo. He was an ITI Scholar at Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM), from 2015 to 2016. He has conducted several pre-clinical and clinical researches in the field of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. His areas of interest include digital dentistry, guided surgery, bone regeneration, peri-implant soft and hard tissue, narrow diameter and short dental implants. Currently, Dr. De Souza is an ITI Fellow and Speaker at the ITI USA Section and holds the position of Assistant Professor in Implant Dentistry at the Department of Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston.
