Trine Bjelke-Holtermann graduated as a dentist from the University of Bergen, Norway in 1998. In 2009 she was authorized by The Norwegian Directorate of Health to do prosthodontics on implants. She completed her specialization in Oral Prosthodontics at the University of Oslo, Norway in 2022. Trine Bjelke-Holtermann is owner of a private dental clinic since 1998, and she is currently working there together with other specialists, general practitioners, and hygienists.

Trine Bjelke-Holtermann is Chair of the Norwegian-Swedish ITI Section. She participated at the Sixth ITI Consensus Conference (2018), Group 3.
