Jaime Bueno is a periodontist and implantologist with the Certificate of Completion of Specialized Training (CCST) in Periodontology awarded by the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP). He completed his studies in the postgraduate program at Complutense University of Madrid. Additionally, he obtained a PhD from the same faculty, specializing in innovative materials for peri-implantitis resolution.

Currently, Dr. Bueno serves as a collaborating professor at Complutense University of Madrid, in the postgraduate program at the University of Granada, and as a collaborator in the periodontology master's program at the University of Oslo. Alongside his academic commitments, he practices at a private clinic, focusing on periodontology and implants in Granada and Madrid. His achievements have been recognized with various awards, including the preclinical & basic research prize presented by the European Federation of Periodontology in both 2020 and 2022, as well as clinical and research awards granted by the Spanish Society of Periodontology (SEPA).
