Poster Competition - Call for Abstract

Be a part of the ITI Congress Nordic 2023 by submitting an abstract for the poster competition! Having a poster at the ITI Congress Nordic is an ideal way of making a broader public aware of the work you are doing.

All the posters must be submitted electronically and will be viewed digitally. Guidelines including size and format will be made available in good time.

Prizes for the ITI Poster Competition

The best poster in each category (Basic Research, Clinical Research) will win:

EUR 1’000, a 1-year ITI Membership and can publish their abstract and poster on the ITI Blog.

Timeline

May 3, 2023         Deadline for abstract submission

Mid-June 2023     Notification of acceptance will be made via e-mail along with the poster guidelines

How to submit your abstract

1. Submit your abstract online until May 3, 2023


2. Register for the Congress and take advantage of the early bird registration fees until May 2, 2023


3. Abstracts selected as finalists will be notified by mid-June, 2023. If you are chosen as a finalist, your notification email will also include the poster specs such as format, size, and resolution required for the digital boards.

 

Guidelines for your abstract

Your abstract may have a maximum of 700 words, must be written in English and structured as follows:

  • Objectives
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion

No images or tables are allowed, and incomplete abstract submissions will not be reviewed.


Conditions for submission

The ITI Poster Competition is open to all clinicians and investigators – there is no age limit. 

You may present information on research findings, program implementation and results, or innovative solutions. Indicate any commercial support at the end of your abstract, if applicable.

The presenting author must be a registered participant of the ITI Congress Nordic 2023 and is responsible for all the associated costs. He/she may submit a maximum of 2 abstracts as presenting author.


Criteria of evaluation

Abstracts are evaluated according to the criteria below:

  • Goals, hypothesis, & background
  • Methodology
  • Results & conclusions

The Scientific Program Committee will review all abstracts that comply with the above guidelines. 

The final posters will be evaluated on-site according to the above criteria as well as:

  • Clarity of layout & graphics
