Dr. Arwa was graduated with a BDS from king Saud University with honour.

In 1993, She obtained her first Master in Periodontology from Dalhousie University in Halifax – Canada.

In 1996, She obtained another Master degree in Dental Implants from University of Toronto in Toronto – Canada.

In 2003, She obtained the third Master degree in advanced clinical training in Periodontology and Dental Implant from Eastman Dental Institute at University Collage London - UK.

In 2011, She won King Abdulaziz First Medal Price at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for discovering gene polymorphism in drug-induced gingival hyperplasia for kidney transplant patients.

In 2013 she was awarded with the fellowship of the American College of Dentists. New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.

In 2014 she became an editor in the Global Journal of Oral Science (GJOS).

Currently she works as:

  • Consultant of Periodontics and Dental Implants at Dar Alelm University – Riyadh college of Dentistry,
  • Visiting professor at Genova University,
  • Head of Assessment and Examination committee of the Saudi Board in Periodontics,
  • Head of implant licencing committee at the Saudi Council for Health Specialties.
