Dr. Kotina Elli has been a Research Scholar of International Team of Implantology (ITI) at Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM) in the Department of Restorative Dentistry & Biomaterials Sciences, a Fellowship Program in Implant Dentistry where she is involved in various didactical and research programs. She is also a certified Digital Dentist of the Digital Dental Society (DDS).
Dr. Kotina received her D.D.S degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens School of Dentistry, in Greece. After her residency in the 3-year program in Prosthodontics at University of Athens, she started to work freelance, running her own private practice for the last 10 years limited to Prosthodontics, Esthetics, and Implant Dentistry. She had been also served as Clinical Instructor for 9 years at the Dental School of University of Athens.
Today, Dr. Kotina’s research areas of interest focus on implant, esthetic and reconstructive dentistry, the didactic and clinical applicability of digital dental technology and she has published in international peer-reviewed journals, concerning these fields. She has been actively involved in research projects in the increasingly popular field of digital dental technology and has presented numerous abstracts and lectures at both national and international meetings.
Dr. Kotina is an active member of various scientific societies, like the International Team of Implantology (ITI), Digital Dental Society (DDS), Academy of Osseointegration (AO), Greek Prosthodontics Society (GrProS) and European Prosthodontic Association (EPA).
